Mantra #11 — The Underground Ethics Charter

Be
Kind

You set the tone — One of the mantras of the Underground Ethics Charter, an ethical framework for a more conscious nightlife culture.

Participate

"Kindness is not a weakness: it's a conscious choice that stabilizes the collective space."

What this means in practice

  • Speak with respect and attention
  • Avoid judgments, aggression and humiliation
  • Welcome differences without trying to correct them
  • Foster a human, open and safe atmosphere

Why it matters

Micro-gestures build the vibe. Seeing, supporting, reporting — that's participating in collective wellbeing.

Be kind — you set the tone.

The context

Kindness is not a weakness: it's a conscious choice that stabilizes the collective space. A respectful climate allows everyone to exist without having to defend themselves or shut down. Kindness creates a safe ground where the celebration can remain open, human and alive.

Everyone is part of the overall safety. Kindness manifests in words, gestures, looks and the intentions we project onto others. Being kind is not being naive: it's consciously choosing not to harm, not to crush, and to contribute to a human, safe and respectful climate for all.

Stay connected

Connect your voice to the collective.

The Charter is built through connection — to yourself, to others, to the night. Your voice directly shapes its final form.
