Mantra #3 — The Underground Ethics Charter

Respect
the Bubble

Let everyone live their moment — One of the 10 mantras of the Underground Ethics Charter, an ethical framework for a more conscious nightlife culture.

Participate

"Connection is beautiful when chosen. It becomes intrusive when imposed."

What this means in practice

  • Respect personal space
  • Establish clear contact before any interaction
  • Avoid surprises, intrusions and pressure
  • Accept a no without insisting
  • Honor the diversity of sensitivities

Why it matters

When the bubble is violated, vigilance replaces joy. When it is respected, trust opens the experience.

Respect the bubble — let everyone live their moment.

The context

Respecting the bubble means protecting everyone's physical, emotional and mental space. Freedom exists when limits are recognized and honored. A respected space allows genuine collective relaxation.

In a dense space, bodies, gazes and silences speak. Knowing how to read these signals allows for natural, fluid and respectful encounters. Connection is beautiful when chosen. It becomes intrusive when imposed.

Stay connected

Connect your voice to the collective.

The Charter is built through connection — to yourself, to others, to the night. Your voice directly shapes its final form.
